Remember, when investing, your capital is at risk!

Fancy a slice of the Kitche pie?

Join our campaign now!

We are crowdfunding on Seedrs! Crowdfunding allows you to buy equity in our growing business and help us have as big an impact as possible! You can invest as little as £10, and as much as £100k in Kitche, not only will you have equity but you can be involved in our new developments, marketing campaigns and growth plans.

Why invest in Kitche?

Kitche is an impact-led business and we are on a mission to stop household food waste. We want to build a community around our growth as a business and give you the opportunity to share our success!

We have spent the last 3 years improving and optimising Kitche and now we have an app we are really proud of. This is our time to supercharge growth and we want you to join us.

We have already received a lot of recognition from press including the BBC, ITV, The Gadget Show; won App Of The Day more than once; and won Highly Commended at Marie Claire’s Sustainability Awards. Last year, we were awarded a competitive government grant to support our development.  We started this year with 35,000 downloads and already have 3 commercial partnerships on board, working closely with County Councils and a London Borough.

…And, this is just the beginning!

As the climate crisis becomes ever more pressing, tech-based, innovative solutions like Kitche will become essential to support food waste reduction, which is a leading cause of climate change!

With inflation and escalating living costs, we also want to help households save money through food waste reduction, which costs an average family in the UK a whooping £720 per year.

We are unique in our approach, moving away from the model of redistrubuting food waste like other apps in our sector. We want to stop food waste at the core, by helping our users buy what they eat and eat what they buy.

This is a great time to join us! We have lots of new exciting features to add to the app and platform, just you wait! You can buy equity in our business for as little as £10, become a shareholder and join the family.

What will we do with the funds we raise?

We want to make Kitche bigger and better! We really want to make a difference and help more and more people get to zero waste in the kitchen. We want to do this by adding a range of new features to drive user retention and behaviour change, such as multi-person login (so families, house-sharers and carers can share a single account) and integrate CO2 data and carbon off-setting into the front end of the app.

We also want to expand the Kitche team and bring in a full time CTO, who will lead all app developments, tech innovation and work closely with our software developers. We also want to integrate supermarkets APIs and secure partnerships with some of the UK’s leading supermarkets to make our user journey is even more seamless, and get the word out far and wide!

So, what is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding refers to a way a company, or person, can raise funds from a large number of people, a crowd! With the advent of the internet, companies like Kitche no longer have to raise funds from small, closed networks, we can now give opportunities to a much wider audience, like you, to invest.

We are equity crowdfunding with Seedrs, this means that by buying equity you become a shareholder, have a partial ownership of the company and stand to make profit if it does well! (Please remember, when you invest your capital is at risk)

What are the benefits of equity crowdfunding?

There are many benefits of crowdfunding, for the company and investors alike. It is a great way to create a community around a common goal, in our case fighting food waste! By buying equity you are not only helping the mission but you will also benefit from it on its success! Crowdfunding equity allows you to potentially make money from causes you really care about! What is also great about crowdfunding is you don’t have to break the bank to be part of it, you can invest as little as £10, and this also means you can be involved in lots of different businesses rather than putting all your eggs in one basket.

How does the process work?

The first step is offering all our friends and family (that’s you!) the opportunity to register your interest in our crowdfund. Anyone who has registered their interest will be offered the opportunity to invest first, within 2 weeks of registering.
